Vantage delivers an Olympic service at London 2012
The first modern Olympic Games in Athens in 1896 consisted of nine sporting events: athletics, cycling, fencing, gymnastics, shooting, swimming, tennis, weightlifting and wrestling. 2012 saw Vantage Event and Media Structures complete their very own Olympic feat of scaffolding services across nine Olympics venues, achieving a personal best in all disciplines.
A RIGHT ROYAL PERFORMANCE
Vantage Event and Media Structures were privileged to provide event scaffolding services for the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton in April 2011. Worldwide media coverage of the Royal Wedding was colossal; extensive global broadcasting would depend on the safe and timely construction of carefully plotted media structures.

Scaffolding at a big national event is always fun: the media buzz, the odd celebrity spot and the camaraderie amongst the workers all make the long days (and nights) worth it. This event scaffolding project was no different.
WINTER WONDERLAND, HYDE PARK
November 2012 saw the Vantage Event and Media Structures scaffolding team hit Hyde Park, London. Our mission? To spread some Christmas scaffold magic at Winter Wonderland – London’s hugely popular yuletide event, open from late November to January.
On site in Milan, of course there was a series of hurdles, but working with Buckinghamshire Scaffolding Specialists made sure the project was always in hand and delivered perfectlyGraham Hudson
I work for SNO!zone in Milton Keynes, I have used BSS on numerous occasions and always found them to be extremely efficient and professional, at Snozone we run many kinds of events for the snow sports industry, having a company like BSS close by has been extremely important in these events succeeding, Matt and his team are always willing to think outside the box and on many occasions offered some extremely good advice. Many get the job done but very few get the job done properly, BSS are definitely in that small minority, Pleasure to work with and will do again, AndyAndy Larwill events manager for SNO!zone
Very impressed. The team were punctual, polite and extremely hard working. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any type of job. Brilliant.Howard Clark Newport Pagnell
'Thank you Buckinghamshire Scaffolding for the outstanding work carried out at my grade II listed property recently. Building works are stressful at the best of times but the quality of the scaffolding you provided at my property helped to set the works up for a successful completion. In fact, my roofer said it was the safest and most professional scaffolding he had ever worked on in his 30 years as a roofer. Needless to say the works were completed on time and on budget'Kirsty Askwith
Dear Matt On behalf of the V&A, I would like to thank you for all your hard work on the London Design Festival at the V&A this year. You saved the day on 'Scaffolding Brut' in the Tunnel Entrance, and indeed on 'Timber Wave' at the Main Entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed having you here, and were delighted you were able to help. Please do stay in touch - it would be great to see you back at the V&A, and of course to see your work elsewhere. Very best wishes Vicky, Sophie, Diana Victoria and Albert Museum London
I wanted to write and pass on my thanks to you and the team for the works on the recent State Visit, of the President of the United States. As you know it was not a usual State Visit, being situated in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, but your assistance and prompt responses made the delivery effortless. Thank you. The onsite team, lead by Matt carried out their duties in an efficient, professional and polite manner. As you know, something which is important, given the surroundings and neighbours! I look forward to working with you and the team again in the near future, for the next State Visit.Tim Maynard Ceremonial Works Manager, EC Harris
